How many children do you have? I have three daughters, ages eight, five, and four.
What’s your specialty? I’m an ob/gyn.
What’s your favorite parenting tip? Live in balance. It’s important for children to have a balanced life, and also take time to enjoy each day because it all goes by so fast.
What has surprised you most about parenting? My girls continue to amaze me everyday. They can be so unconditionally loving. I get great joy in seeing them play, learn, and try new things. I am amazed at the tremendous capability that children have.
How do you get your kids to eat healthy food? I bribe them. If they want to have dessert, they have to at least try everything at dinner.
How do you work exercise into your family’s life? My daughters are very active in sports already. I’ve found that signing them up for classes with their friends works best.
How do you recharge your batteries? I play tennis two or three times a week. It’s my exercise and also my time with my friends. It’s multitasking at its best.
