How many children do you have? One
What’s your specialty? Musculoskeletal radiology
What’s your favorite parenting tip? Establish rules of engagement. Define those things that are not negotiable, and stick to it. “You hold my hand when crossing a street or in a parking lot,” for example is not negotiable.
What has surprised you most about parenting? Kids are smart, and they pick up your body language.
How do you get your kids to eat healthy food and/or exercise? By example and what you make available to them; however, there is latitude in recognizing that they have their own likes and dislikes.
How do you recharge your own batteries? This has been and continues to be a problem: sleep, talks with my husband, movies, massages.
