I’m so overwhelmed. I have a new baby, and a parade of family and friends want to come by. How did you cope?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply:  When people come to visit and meet your baby, you don’t have to entertain them! Stay in your robe. Then it’s clear to them that you won’t be entertaining them and that it’s your job to be close to your baby. This is particularly important if you’re breasfeeiding, as newborns need to nurse quite frequently.

Better yet, while your friends and family visit, if they want to clean and shop for you, let them!
