Making Time for Yourself

How do you make time for yourself to boost your mood?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: I think sometimes rather than making time, it’s helpful to reframe time that you already have as “me” time. I have about an hour commute to work. I could resent that time “wasted” in the car. But instead, I consider that time for myself. Driving is relaxing for me. I listen to music or books while I drive. I can take several different routes to work, and I choose whichever suits my mood. My driving time is my time to decompress and the only time I really have alone.
