Loving Another Baby

I feel badly even thinking this, but I’m pregnant with my second child and I wonder, how could I ever love this baby as much as I do my daughter? Did you feel this?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: Yes, during my second pregnancy, I was very worried. I didn’t know how I could possibly love another baby as much as I loved my son. I felt terrible even thinking that.

I remember calling my mom, crying and saying, “I don’t know how I could ever love this baby as much.”

“Don’t worry,” my mom said. “There’s enough love in your heart for both babies!”

And of course, my mom was right.
