Gross Motor Skills Development
Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: When my girls were toddlers, we played a lot outside. I wanted them to have plenty of opportunities to develop their motor skills running and playing. Our family loved to play Follow the Leader, Head of the Train, and Tag.
One thing that I found helped them develop motor skills was walking on curbs. Kids love to do this, and with close supervision (arms-length in case you need to catch them!) it can help toddlers improve their strength and balance.
