Colds, Preventing

How do you keep your toddlers from getting colds?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: I keep colds away by taking probiotics and giving them to my daughters. A really good study found that taking probiotics daily during winter can cut colds in half.

I buy a probiotics powder, and I put the recommended dose in my girls’ milk each day. Any brand seems to be fine. Since I started to do that, we’ve really noticed a decrease in the number of colds we catch. But you have to be consistent and take it every day.
