Traveling

How did you make traveling with toddlers easier?

Our Mommy MD Guide’s reply: When my kids were toddlers, we lived in Germany, where my husband was stationed with the Army. While we lived there, we did a fair amount of traveling. Germany is centrally located, and we were so fortunate to be able to go to Paris or Belgium for a weekend.

We found that rather than flying, taking a train was a great way to travel with kids. On the train, our kids didn’t have to be strapped into tiny seats. They could move around and play.
