Betsy Dolan

Betsy is a mom of two and president and founder of Wrapeaze.

How did you come up with the idea for your product? Sheer necessity! As a mother of two, I often cringe at the idea of running errands with the kids in tow. While I love my boys endlessly, I don’t love the quick trips to the grocery store, daycare, the post office, or the dry cleaner. Everyone is happy until the car stops and it is time to get the jackets on! The pleasant experience of running a couple of quick errands often turns into a long, miserable chore. I needed a quick alternative to a jacket that was not restricting movement in anyway for my kids! And with that, Wrapeaze was invented. The blanket that stays on, surrounding the kids in comfort, warmth and style!

How many children do you have and what age groups? Two very active boys! Blake is three, and Miles is one.

What’s your favorite parenting tip? Take one day at a time and enjoy every minute! It goes by so fast!

What has surprised you most about parenting? Being able to see the world through the eyes of my children. Every day is a new adventure for them and its amazing how they make you slow down and appreciate life! Take time to smell the roses.

How do you get your kids to eat healthy food? My kids love to eat fruit. I am open to any and all suggestions on those darn veggies.

How do you work exercise into your family’s life? Exercise is what brings us together as a family! I love to run, and therefore my kids go for a ride in the jogging stroller. I run different routes and make it fun for the kids to find new things each day!  We often end at the playground where they can “race” me to the swings.

How do you recharge your batteries? Believe it or not, those daily runs are what recharge my batteries! It is my “me time” and most certainly where I do my best thinking!
