How many children do you have?  I have two children: my beautiful daughter, Raegan Aria, who is 11 years old and my handsome adult stepson, Graham.

How did you come up with the idea for your company?  My personal exploration into heart-centered living stems from my own unique experience with my daughter, Raegan Aria, who was born with a rare brain malformation. Raegan, who is nonverbal, used a form of energy communication to reach out to me in time of great medical crisis and thus saved her own life. After this amazing experience, I went on to study the science & theories behind energy and has launched HeartGlow to educate and inspire others to shine bright!

What’s your favorite parenting tip?  Discovering the bliss in parenting comes more easily to those who have balance in their lives. Maintaining a dedicated perspective on well-being enables you as a parent to fully nurture your children: mind, body, and spirit. To foster peace and wellness for your family, you must demonstrate and emanate your own best intentions. Be the healthy model.

How do you get your family to eat healthy food and/or exercise?  My family has always been great about eating healthy foods and with us living in Maine, we have wonderful opportunities to be active through hiking, biking and walks to the lake. Knowing when its time to step away from the TV and computer helps to keep things in balance.

How do you recharge your batteries?  I am a firm believer in meditation and creative visualization. As a special needs mom, I don’t always have the chance to get out as much as I may like, so finding bliss in the simple moments have been a lifesaver for me.
